Mike Romine Builds Rollin' Custom |
|
Rollin' Custom Cycles recently finished work on a Custom Chopper for a guy who holds the record for the fatsest motorcycle pilot; 228 MPH. Romine races AHDRA and is the defending world champion in Top Fuel Nitro. And now Mike adds a Rollin' Custom Cycle to his garage full of high performance machines and couldn't be happier.
The bike is a chopper style custom powered by a Harley Davidson Twin Cam and driven by a Baker right-side drive 6 speed tranny. It's over 9.5 feet long and features a frame that has a 47 degree rake with 18 inch over front forks. The paint is black with orange and yellow old school flames with a hand painted red pin stripe. Other features include Weld rims and Samson Bone Shakers exhaust.

It's 300 mm wide, and they don't get much wider. Rollin' Custom Cycles gave Nathan Timm of Florida, the widest production tire for a street legal motorcycle. This is Timm's second Rollin' Custom Cycle.
At just over a foot wide and set on chrome rims, cause that's the way Timm wanted it. At 300 mm wide, it was a first for master builder Jeff Wanamaker.
